According to The New York Post, the aircraft, scheduled to depart from Indianapolis, had to be parked for a thorough cleaning after Meghan Reinertsen, an aspiring actress, experienced severe diarrhea.

Meghan Reinertsen, a frequent flyer, faced a difficult episode while aboard the United Airlines flight. The situation, she believes, was a result of food poisoning caused by an undercooked hamburger consumed the evening prior in Portugal.

Symptoms such as vomiting and diarrhea are generally severe but not typically life-threatening, according to reports from the Cleveland Clinic.

Reinertsen continued by saying, "They canceled that flight because of me. The hazmat team [had] to come in and clean it, because [they didn’t] know if I’d brought [a disease] back from Portugal. I am a biohazard."
