Chicago man who was sexually assaulting relative during online class sentenced to 11 years

Walls was an 18-year-old high school senior at the time of his arrest. Authorities did not specify the exact relation between Walls and the girl.
During the interrogation, Walls not only confessed to the crime that the teacher and some students witnessed but also revealed another assault on the girl since she turned 6. After being taken into custody, Walls showed remorse for his actions.
Defending Walls, his attorney stated that Walls has been diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This condition, the attorney emphasized, impaired his ability to control his impulses.
